Get a paper & pen
Get a diary/notepad/jotter, one that you can carry around every day. Write down what you need to remember. Always make sure you have it with you.
Write out your daily plan
We all need something to keep organized. A to-do list can help.
On your to-do list write out things you need to do. Write them in the order of importance.
Write the time you want to start. And when you want to finish.
This way, you know exactly what to do and can be on time!
Every time you do something from your to-do list you can reward yourself. Example: If you finish your laundry before 3pm you can decide to watch TV or listen to your favorite programme on the radio for 15 minutes as a reward.
Distraction stops you getting things done.
Put the phone down, turn the TV off and focus on what you need to do.
Try to set rules. For example: You can only watch TV after you’ve finished everything on your to-do list. Say goodbye to your favourite music channel or series until all the work is done. Don’t let anything or anyone distract you.
