Do you and be happy
As a teenager, it’s normal to want to be accepted. Especially if you’re in a new neighbourhood without any friends. Or a new place where nobody knows your name.
Of course you wouldn’t want to be left out of the fun. You may try to please the cool kids so they’ll like you. You may even daydream of being their bestie and hanging out with them. And there’s nothing wrong with this.
At some point, we’ve all wondered whether everyone likes us. It happens more often than not. But the thing is, you can’t please everyone. Nobody can. Each of us is unique. We have different views and opinions; that’s why we don’t agree on everything.
That being said, the world is a big, wonderful place. Which means if some people don’t accept you for who you are, others surely will. You’ll make great friends who really like and respect you.
So avoid doing stuff that makes you uncomfortable just to please others. You don’t need anyone’s approval to feel good. You rock all day, every day—no matter what anyone says.
Always stay true to yourself. If you don’t want to dance, don’t. If you’d rather read a novel than play a board game, do your thing. Your happiness and peace of mind matter most.
When you stop trying to please people, you’ll be able to focus on important things. E.g. your goals, your loved ones, and your well-being. Remember, there’s only one person you should ever try to please: yourself.
So do you. Live your life to the fullest. We’ll be cheering you on all the way up. And you’ll never have to wonder if we like you. Because we do.

big sis,am just 18years in 100level,ever since av stayed wit my step father,i never pleased him 4 evrytin i did,he always complain,now he had sent me out of d house,since i had no were to go,i went back to skul and stay at my hostel till i graduate,though he wasn't d one paying my skul fees but my mum. big sis did i done well.

You need to carefully select your friends and be sure that they also need you. You need to know the kind of friends that you need to get and what both parties will offer in the friendship. Me and my girlfriend,we are both chatting because she is schooling in jos....in her final year and she told my that her class department adviser told her she want to dat her and she say no dat he is too big....
