A quick guide to a better you
If there’s one thing you shouldn’t play with, it’s your well-being. When you’re strong and fit, it’s easier to achieve your dreams. You’ll feel better about yourself—and everything else too. Here are some tips to help you avoid getting harmful stuff in your body:
Clean and Fresh
Let’s start with the easy stuff. Wash your hands often. Bath twice a day, preferably morning and night. Pay attention to sensitive spots like your private area and your underarms. Try not to touch your face, eyes and mouth. Brush your teeth at least once a day. Cough and sneeze into a hankie/tissue or your arm, not your palms. Wash your hands after using the bathroom or handling trash. All this will keep harmful germs away.
Eat Right
You can never go wrong with a good diet. Eat lots of fruits and veggies. They’ve got vitamins and minerals which help prevent damage to your body cells.
Pawpaw, oranges and carrots are good examples. You can also eat meat, fish, beans and eggs. They contain protein which helps wounds heal faster. Finally, instead of snacking on cakes and sweets, try kuli-kuli or plantain chips. Food can be healthy and delicious .
Nature’s Best
Think you’re coming down with a cold, cough or sore throat? Well, this might just help. Add salt to warm water, then gargle to soothe your throat. Next, put a bowl of hot water under your nose for some minutes or have a hot bath. The steam will clear your nostrils and perk you up. Remember to make sure the water isn't too hot. One more thing? Avoid cold drinks. Instead, grind some ginger, mix it with honey, and make a cup of hot tea. Then rest and stay warm. If you don’t get better, see a doctor immediately.
Stay Safe
Having sex can expose you to sexually transmitted diseases (STDS) like HIV, herpes and gonorrhea. Condoms can help prevent this. However, the surest way of preventing STDS is by not having sex. Any questions? Talk to a trusted adult like an aunty or an older sibling. Or go to a doctor or health professional as soon as you can.

Hey,if you are in that sort of situation,I advice you to see a doctor.Forget about the money issue your health comes first,anyway you can raise that money even if it means borrowing,do it.LIVELY,YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT MEANS SOMETHING,So keep that name alive.Coughing out blood and a chest pain is not a joking matter. If you're a male,you have to stay alive to see your sons grow into a man one day,pardon if you are not married and if you are a female,then I think you will like to see yourself giving birth to beautiful offsprings,believe me your life is worth it,take it from me.

Hey Lively! Thanks for opening up through this comment. Princess has said it all. We understand that money can be a hindrance but 7 months of chest pain is a lot. You can go to a local health care center around you. These are not as expensive as hospitals but they still have professional medical personnels that will be willing to attend to you. All you need to pay is to open a file for a token. We advise that you search for one of these and get treated there. We hope this helps

Hi big sis my breast I just too small and it's making me shy there are some of my mate and juniors that I first them in developing breast buh now theirs I now bigger than mine and mine has remained in one position since I can't even go out without putting on a bra just because I don't want people to laff at me

Hey Amie! Thanks for the comment. First of all, the size of your breast is hormonal and may increase as you grow. Look at your family members (both paternal and maternal) and notice their breast sizes. Ask questions about how their breasts were when they were younger. Do not worry about it as there is little you can do to increase it. Just be comfortable in your skin and take your mind off it. The size of your breast does not determine what you will be in life. Look at the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful (big breast or not). We hope this helps.

Hey peace! Thanks for the comment. The size of your breast is hormonal and may increase as you grow. You have not started your period so that means you are still growing and still in puberty. You really should not be bothered about your breast and what people say about you. Love your body and be patient. We hope this helps.
