Big sister, Is it OK to feel jealous about my best friends being more popular than me? Guys look at them more than me, they look prettier than me, they are tallr than me and sometimes I feel like they have a leverage over me, I don't stand a chance whenever I'm around them, even on Facebook they have numerous friends and followers when I can count how many friends I have...They post beautiful pictures on Facebook and get more than 1000 likes whenever I post mine I barely get up to 100 and I don't like it, I feel like m not up to their standards though they are all older than me and they are always here for me whenever I have problems but their being more popular than me makes me jealous of them maybe it's because they are tall and m of average height but I believe m still growing I'm Just 16 they are all up to 18 or more... Hey Princess.Muna! It is wrong to be jealous of your best friends. Jealousy is bad and can lead to other things that can get worse. We are all indviduals and we are different. You cannot have the life that they have or their body or popularity. They worked hard to become popular (maybe by being very friendly to others or smiling often or just being nice generally). Being jealous of them or breaking off the friendship won't make you popular, it will only make you bitter and angry whenever you see their friends on facebook or the likes they are getting from the posts they send.
