Looks aren't everything
You have dreams, you have talent, you have your mind. There is so much more to you than your face or body. It is left for you to find these things and bring them out to the world. Beauty lies in your character, good behaviour and not just in fashion or being trendy. Drop bad habits and work on a good attitude.
Being a girl is awesome
People may say you cannot do some things because you are a girl. Some may call you the weaker sex. Remember you are smart and you have a strong mind. Being a girl shouldn’t stop you from becoming anything you want to be. You are special, a rare GEM, and a strong woman in the making. Do not be afraid to take bold steps and try new things, because you are a girl doesn’t mean you are weak.

I feel sad and depressed the way i look due to my size and shape. I feel like nobody in the family. I feel am not treated special. My six makes me feel they are the best and I can't make it in life. Lol...I saw myself dat way bcos my friends have once said I have broad shoulders and I also have big legs....I actually overlooked it I was exchanging words with a guy and he was lyk I'm a man cuz of my broad shoulders and big legs...and I'm a slim girl so those attributes were kinda vivible on me but I didn't allow those words bother me, I learnt to love my body cuz I know most pple even wish to be like me....I think I'm really pretty and no one can deny dat fact, my hair is really long too....so whenever any1 tries to put u down, always look at d exceptional things u have which makes u unique and with dat ur morale would be boosted...so don't look down on ur body, rememba u can't be some1 else and no one can be u!

Hey Serena! First of all you must determine the cause for your inferiority complex. It could be something that happened to you as a child or what someone said to you while growing up. Find out what it is and tackle it once and for all. Also, you need to change your thoughts by changing your negative self talk, fix your mental self image and fix your self confidence. Learn to believe in yourself and consider yourself beautiful at all times. If you must have friends, choose people that will boost your confidence too. To gain weight, you can eat lots of carbohydrate and fats, eat lots of tropical fruits e.g banana, eat often, don't drink water before you eat so that your tummy won't be full, drink milk and yogurts, get lots of sleep and don't forget to enjoy yourself while doing all these because worrying also makes one loose weight. I am 17 bt looks like a 13 years old,its only my face that can tell that I look older,the last time I checked my weight it was just 35. Please is there anything I can do or eat dat can make me look a little bit of my age? nt dat I want to be fat or something or is that weight okay for my age?. Please I need answers.

Hey Springster! Thanks for the comment. There is really nothing you can eat to make you look your age. We suggest you talk to a trusted adult and see a doctor for more guidance on what to eat and also to know if your weight is okay for your age. You can also see a pharmacist if you do not have access to a hospital. We hope this helps

Hey Katherine-15! Thanks for the comment. No one has the right to tell you how to dress or not. Dressing is a way to express yourself and so no one should dictate on how you should express yourself. They are not the ones to tell you what is attractive or not. As long as you feel attractive and comfortable in what you wear, no one should have a say on it. These people are trying to make you dress and look like them and this is not the way. This is how peer pressure starts and you need to tell them you fell comfortable in your "omo pastor" clothes and they should stop trying to influence the way you look. As long as you do not tell them what to wear and how to look, they have no right to do so with you too. We hope this helps

Hey hi_feisty! Thanks for the comment. We understand how you feel and we get that it can be sad and painful but the truth is that it shouldn't make you feel not cool. Any boyfriend of yours that finds her more attractive than you does not deserve to be in your life in the first place and so this is not even a thought to consider because it can make you build hatred towards your sister. Everyone has their spec and trust me, not all guys will find her attractive. The ones that find her attractive now do so because she is their spec. You need to get this off your mind and get to appreciate yourself because if you don't, you will keep paying attention to every detail about your sister. There is also nothing wrong with looking younger (you will love this part when you grow older, trust big sister *wink*). The most important thing right now is to love yourself and be happy with the way you are. We hope this helps
