It was scary but Biola nailed it
I was 16 years old when I decided to start my first business. I wanted something that would give me money. I wanted to be able to take care of myself then but I didn’t have the money.
I decided to start a chin-chin and milk candy business because I knew young people in my neighbourhood would buy it.
Starting the business was not exactly easy. I mean I had no money to start. But I wasn’t going to let that stop me.
One day I spoke to my uncle. I told him about my business idea and he agreed to give me some money to start.
This marked the beginning of my journey to becoming self-employed. It was a good journey because I started making profit early.
I was able to buy some of the make-up and jewellery wanted. I was even able to cater for some of my needs.
The truth is the business really helped my life.
It has being 5 years since I started the business I can say I am so grateful that I can do things for myself. I don’t have to depend on anyone.
Now I don’t have to beg people for money rather I now help people with the money I have earned. I am no longer idle.
My advice for young people out there is to find something you can do and do it. You don’t have to depend on anyone. We all can be successful. Yes when we start it can be rough but if you continue doing it things will turn out well.
And don’t be scared to ask for help. If there is a trusted adult that can help you, talk to them. But be careful though. Some people might try to take advantage of you, you can’t trust everyone.

I'm 16 years old, nd i don,t depend on anyone, even my parents. how i started making my personal money was when i was told about a multi level marketing company. All u have 2 do 2 start earning is to register with 15,000 naira, talk 2 people about it, convince them to register. once they register under you, you get paid. the more you register people , the more your payment increases. there are also other awards llike; phones, laptop, car, house. international trip, nd so on.

Well I really have an interest for a lot of things but what I love most is baking. I want to start with a simple sugar cookies and I've gotten d recipe and procedures online. My mom bought some ingredients for me but I don't have a cookie sheet. I think I can substitute that with a stainless plate. When I finally make d cookie, I'll decide whether to sell or not. I'm almost getting discouraged now
